DESCRIPTION:On September 8th the Cultural Arts Council will announce the winners of the "Red Cockerill Gallery" NOVAS awards.  The CAC has named awards thanks to the sponsorship of the Red Cockerill Gallery in Austell.\n\n \n\nNOVAS (National Open Visual Arts Show) is a show open to all.  Artists were able to submit up to three entries  and are guaranteed that at least one will be displayed.  This also makes them eligible to win the First Place award of $500\, Second Place award of $250\, Third Place award of $150\, and Honorable Mention of $100.\n\n \n\nThe Red Cockerill Gallery provides custom framing as well as sales of original artworks and limited edition prints\, and conducts art classes and workshops. \n\n \n\nThe NOVAS exhibit runs from September 1-29 and the reception where the "Red Cockerill Gallery" NOVAS Awards will be announced is on Thursday\, September 8th from 6-8pm. It is free and open to all and the reception is hosted by the Douglas County Art Guild.
