SUMMARY:A Master's Winter Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:The CAC will be awash with creativity of the DC school students as they interpret the work of master artists (ie.\, Matisse\, Van Gogh\, Rembrandt\, etc) giving them a winter or holiday spin. This exhibit allows the teachers to incorporate their curricula about master painters into the exhibit project and provides the students a fun challenge to see winter and holiday scenes in a new light.\n\n\n\nEach student selected as the best entry in their age category will win a Gift Certificate for classes\, art supplies or framing\, generously sponsored by The Red Cockerill Gallery.\n\n\n\nThe reception for the show is on Thursday\, November 30th from 6 - 8 p.m. and is hosted by the CAC's Art Gallery Committee.\n\n\n\nPlease go to http://artsdouglas.org/programs/programs for more information.
