DESCRIPTION:The Cultural Arts Council Douglasville | Douglas County (CAC) in partnership with the Douglasville Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is proud to present the new public art project\, "Love Where you Live."  In celebration of the new heART project\, join us on Friday\, February 11th\, 10 am at the CAC for the Chamber of Commerce Member Milestone. These colorful\, original sculptures were designed as an artistic focal point reflecting the community's values\, history\, and bond. This public art project features 14 fiberglass heart sculptures\, displayed throughout the community\, and painted by local artists. \n\n \n\nIn addition\, join us for the "Hunt for Hearts" which is a part of the Love Where You Live Heart public art project! This self-guided scavenger hunt is happening between February 1   28\, 2022! Post your selfies and use hashtag #artsdouglas and #visitdouglasville to be entered for a chance to win 1 of 3 special prizes! Each selfie post from a different location will earn 1 entry into the drawing. Receive additional entries for downloading the "Visit Douglasville" app\, answering heart questions online\, submitting a flash drive with selfies\, or voting for the People's Choice Award.
