About the speaker:
Dr. Ania Izabela Rynarzewska is an Assistant Professor of Sports Business. She earned her Bachelor's, Masters and PhD degrees from Florida State University where she also competed as a Division I tennis player. At Florida State, her studies were focused in the field of communication with emphasis in marketing and quantitative tools. Prior to joining Mercer University, Dr. Rynarzewska worked as a pricing analyst at Corning Cable Systems (now Corning Optical Communications) in their Global Pricing Office. She played an integral role in developing new reports while her analysis has led to substantial pricing decisions. She teaches sports marketing research methods, marketing courses including social media marketing, as well as business statistics and digital and social media analytics. Her current research focuses on marketing and sports marketing with elements of communication theory. In addition to her current work as an assistant professor, Dr. Rynarzewska actively engages in providing consulting services in areas of marketing and analytics. On s personal note, she is a mother of twins, has a small sustainable farm and is a founder of a skin care company.
