ATTENTION LOCAL BUSINESSES: Don’t miss this opportunity to share information about your business and career with a Douglas County student. Your time and personal attention on PIE Shadow Day can make a difference in a high school student’s career path.
Here are the easy steps for participation:
Make a lasting impression. Get to know the students and assist them in planning future goals and you may meet a potential future employee. The students benefit by gaining a firsthand view of a day in their potential career field.
All students who participate in PIE Shadow Day must submit a resume and complete a brief application form. Each student selected for participate will be matched as closely as possible with a business person in their field of interest.
Please complete the Business Registration Form by Wednesday, October 12, 2016
PIE Shadow Day is supported by the Partners in Education Program, a program of the Douglas County School System in partnership with businesses and organizations of Douglasville and Douglas County. PIE Shadow Day is coordinated by the Work-Based Learning/YAP Coordinators at each high school.
