Ribbon Cutting for The Farmer's Table
Ribbon Cutting & ground breaking ceremonies are a free service that we provide to Chamber Members only. These events offer new business the chance to invite members, the Board of Directors, Diplomats, and City and County officials to their location as well as speak about their business. We are a produce market that purchases locally grown produce when available and specializes in southern vegetables and fruits. Most of our shelf products such as jams, jellies, dressings, breads, ciders are made right here in Georgia! Rick and Susan Henderson are the proprietors. Susan operates the market and you can see her there most every day. Rick works at the Fulton County Airport and is the handyman for the market. Boy, do we ever need one! Their children (daughter, son, and daughter-in-law) all work in Douglas County. The idea for the market was adopted from our relatives in Louisiana who own several product markets, Berrytown Produce. With their expertise and guidance, we opened our own, much smaller version and Douglas County residents welcomed us with open arms.
