Douglas County Chamber Foundation Leadership Scholarship

The Chamber Foundation offers two scholarships to local graduating high school seniors:

one $1,000 scholarship and one $500 scholarship. These scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors exemplifying outstanding leadership qualities.
Qualifications are as follows
The student must be a graduating senior living in Douglas County. Students must have a cumulative 3.5 grade point average or higher. Students must plan to attend an institution of higher learning. Students need to have demonstrated leadership experience through school, community activity, and/or work experience. Student must submit two recommendation letters, one by a representative from school and one by a member of the business community; and Students must write a 500-word essay on a leader he/she admires and the leadership qualities that the leader exemplifies.
Applications must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, May 6th, 2024.
