Job duties include entry-level work of routine difficulty in manual labor involving physically demanding unskilled and limited semi-skilled tasks. Work involves operating combination vehicles and single and tandem-axle automotive equipment or relatively simple mechanical attachments. May work independently or with other mechanics, laborers, and/or the plant or pump station operators during repair assignments. High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
This position performs work of moderate difficulty, supervising and participating in the general maintenance, repair, and construction of wastewater (sewer) systems and other related structures and facilities. Work involves overseeing and participating in the activities performed by subordinate employees involved in construction, maintenance, repair, and related work.
