Field Services Technician (Meter Reading)

This position perform a variety of skilled and specialized work required for the maintenance of the Automated Meter Reading/Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMR/AMI) system equipment and water meters throughout the Authority’s water distribution system. This position troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves failure to communicate and meter reading problems. In addition, this position must perform a variety of other related duties and take responsibility to ensure uninterrupted automated meter reading for the Authority. Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED and have a valid State of Georgia drivers license, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and Confined Spaces Certification.
