• Track finished product throughout the facility and assist in loading trailers
• Perform final, general inspection and verify product is correctly and packaged properly
• Build shipping crates to industry standards as needed & able to read and interpret shipping paperwork
• Assure conformance with 5S program & participate in the continuous improvement process
• Assure compliance with all related safety policies and procedures and perform Safety audits
• Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions & follow proper lifting techniques
• Follow directions given by the Management team & support and participate in Lean initiatives
• Serve as a member of the Shipping Department team, providing assistance as needed

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a shipping & receiving
• High School education or equivalent preferred
• Must be certified thru Silver Line PIT certification program
• Previous PIT / Forklift experience and certification a plus
• Ability to safety operate power tools & able to read a tape measurer
• Understanding of related safety policies and procedures
• Interpersonal skills: must be able to work with personnel throughout the facility
• Computer skills and knowledge: scanners, & any other programs as needed
• Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision
• Physical ability to perform job duties & able to work in small spaces
• Ability to lift and maneuver bulky product & Knowledge of product flow
• Dependable, punctual, detail oriented and proficient communication skills
• Ability to read/write in English and basic reading and math skills are preferred.
• Ability to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach, stand and lift at least 75 pounds
