As the Founder and CEO of Pivotal Connections LLC, I use and share my lifelong experiences - as a business leader, military veteran, military spouse, and parent - to prepare, inspire, value, optimize, and transform (PIVOT) current and aspiring leaders.
As a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Member, I also use an array of learning systems, developed by world-renowned leadership expert, John C. Maxwell, to create life-changing experiences for adults, parents, families, and youth who are committed to personal and professional growth.

I am Leslie Nelson, Founder and CEO of Pivotal Connections, LLC. Utilizing my signature leadership development and motivational programs, and an array of learning systems and tools developed by world-renowned leadership expert John C. Maxwell, I facilitate energetic and interactive forums for customers committed to personal and professional growth. I am a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team member with special certifications in youth leadership development and parenting & family coaching. My professional career also encompasses twenty years in the nonprofit industry serving people with significant disabilities, and twenty combined years of federal government and active-duty Army military service. I earned an MBA degree from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN, and a Certificate in Personal Development Coaching from The CaPP Institute.
