Douglasville Is Officially on the Map: The AI Collective Launches a Local Chapter

DOUGLASVILLE, GA, September 18, 2026: Douglasville now has its own chapter of The AI Collective, the global non-profit community that unites more than 200,000 leaders, builders, and stakeholders across 100+ forums worldwide. The new chapter will host its launch event, AI for Everybody, on Friday, October 9, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce, 6658 Church Street.

The chapter is led by Douglasville business owner Cheryl Tibbs, President of Commercial Capital Connect, Chief Strategist of AI Marvels Inc., and CEO of EmergeStack Development Company.

"Douglasville business owners should not have to drive to Midtown to be part of the AI conversation," said Tibbs. "The tools are here, the talent is here, and now the community is here. My goal is simple: help the people in our own backyard learn this stuff by doing it, not by watching somebody else talk about it."

AI for everybody, not just the tech crowd

The chapter is built on one belief: you should not need a tech background to build with AI. It brings together builders, small business owners, students, and the AI-curious from across Douglas County and metro Atlanta. Whether someone is already building with AI or has never touched it, there is a seat for them.

The October 9 launch will include:

• A welcome and the vision for the Douglasville chapter
• Real conversation with the people building in Douglas County right now
• A first look at what is ahead: monthly meetups plus a quarterly hands-on builder series
