This position performs technical, administrative, and supervisory work in the engineering design activities for water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure development. Duties include reviewing water, sewer, stormwater, and erosion control construction plans and specifications, responding to information requests from developers and contractors, estimating development costs, and responding to inquiries from the general public.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field and two (2) years of experience in design or construction management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidates should also possess a valid State of Georgia driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Preferred registration as a licensed Engineer in Training in the State of Georgia plus GSWCC Level II Certification, or ability to obtain certification within ninety (90) days from date of hire.
