Summary
As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant at Vascular Surgical Associates, P.C., you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare to our patients. This position is essential for enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring the smooth operation of our vascular surgical services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform suturing and phlebotomy procedures as required.
- Manage pain management protocols for patients undergoing vascular procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in research initiatives to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients in urgent care settings as needed, providing critical interventions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license in the state of Georgia.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology related to vascular health.
- Proven experience in performing suturing and phlebotomy procedures.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and critical care practices is preferred.
- Experience in ER or urgent care settings is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to conduct research and apply findings to clinical practice is beneficial.
